Poachers snatched a newborn spider monkey who got injured in the process, and didn’t have much hope of surviving. When the Belize Forest Department received the call about the injured tiny spider monkey, they quickly sprung into action. Within 3 hours, they located the baby and confiscated her from her captors.
They named her Izzie who’s suffering from shock and dehydration, and rushed her to Belize Wildlife & Referral Clinic to save her life. Watch the heartwarming rescue below. Thanks to these amazing people, Izzie is getting a second chance.
