A First Look At The World’s Biggest Heart Ever Preserved By Humans

A giant feat in the field of cardiovascular science has recently been made. Scientists at the Royal Ontario Museum removed the 400-pound heart of a blue whale from it’s icy chamber in a warehouse in Canada, so they could begin preserving it long-term. Luckily for us, they documented the whole thing!

Long thought to be the biggest heart in the animal kingdom, get ready to feast your eyes on what is likely the largest heart that humans have ever preserved!
