Icarus Fell: All You Need to Know About This M4A1-S Skin

Icarus Fell is a CS:GO skin marked “Forbidden” for the M4A1-S Silenced Assault Rifle, which is an available weapon for Special Forces. It has a rather bright and original coloring in neon blue tones, depicting feathers and melting wax.

History of Appearance

Icarus Fell was added to the game on 26 May 2015, as part of the Gods and Monsters Collection, released alongside the start of Operation Bloodhound.

Unfortunately, Icarus Fell is not popular and is rarely seen in the game. The rifle is of restricted quality and is not available with the StatTrak™ counter.

The skin for the assault rifle was created based on the legend of Icarus. The central element of the decor is a turquoise circle surrounded by feathers.

What is Pictured on the Skin?

On this skin, black paint has been applied to the surface of the assault rifle as a background. An image of melting wax and feathers is on the surface of the background, though all this was done in blue. Overall the decision to make the rest of the surface gray-blue is considered very good.

Now, about paint wear. The Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.10, which makes M4A1-S | Icarus Fell available only in two conditions: Factory New, and Minimal Wear. The difference between these two qualities is a couple of scratches. At levels of wear close to the maximum, there are slight abrasions on the weapon body.

The pattern index affects the arrangement of design elements. Moreover, there are no rare or special variations of the pattern, which also influences the popularity and price of the skin.

Is it Expensive to Buy Icarus Fell?

It’s no secret that the assault rifle is considered the best weapon in CS:GO, with which you can easily defeat dozens of enemies. That is why Icarus Fell is a great solution for those who often use the M4A1-S.

It will allow you to stand out quite a lot during gameplay, which is what many dream of. Nevertheless, despite such a colorful outlook, the trading floor for the product requires only $300, which is the minimum price. The maximum reaches a mark of $700.

StatTrak™ is simply absent in this collection, but this does not really spoil the opinion about it as a whole.

Craft M4A1-S | Icarus Fell

While the M4A1-S only has a 25% chance of successfully crafting Icarus Fell, it should be noted that all crafting options are relatively inexpensive, so if you manage to hone this skill, consider yourself lucky to save an extra $200–300:

  • For the Minimal Wear exterior, the developers require five MP9s from Pandora’s Box Collection (Field-Tested) and the same amount of Negev | Desert-Strike, in the same form. The total price is $37.25.
  • Icarus Fell as Minimal Wear can also be obtained by another method. The second option will require five UMP-45 | Minotaur’s Labyrinth (Minimal Wear) plus the same amount of P2000 | Ivory. The cost of this procedure is $37.35.
  • For the Factory New exterior, you should have five UMP-45 | Minotaur’s Labyrinth and five Negev | Desert-Strike. The price for all this is $42.55.

However, we should not forget that the probability of successful crafting is only 25%, so it is likely that the result of your crafting may be a weapon from another collection.

If you are not ready to take risks, feel free to buy Icarus Fell on Steam. The difference between buying and crafting isn’t that big, plus both are equally cheap.

Is Icarus Fell Worth Investing in?

If you are reading this piece, then probably you would like to have one in your collection. Is it the right time to buy it? We guess so, yes.

With the gradual price rises on the skin market, a Minimal Wear skin worth $300 would set you $600 back the next year. So consider purchasing this asset as soon as possible.

Otherwise, you can risk several bucks and try to craft it on your own.
