China is a very fascinating place on earth. If you’re lucky enough to visit the county, you will surely have plenty of amazing impressions and stories to tell.
Yet sometimes English-speaking tourists might experience some difficulties and strangely hilarious moments when they encounter English translations of signs, billboards and directions while getting around the country.

“干菜” translates to dried vegetables and “类” translate to type, which should mean “dried vegetables section.” But the translator was too concerned about the character “干” which also means a slang for f***.”
