Recently released by KAFA, “a feminist, secular, Lebanese, non-profit, non-governmental civil society organization”, this video brings to light how in some countries, Lebanon for instance, there are still laws that allow young girls to marry older men as long as the parents consent.
As long as the parents permit it, the child bride is allowed to marry someone much older – in fact, there is no upper age limit on their spouses.
In this video below, a child bride and her groom goes to a public place to have their photos taken. Now watch how passers-by react.
