From time to time, we shake our heads in dismay when we see an old church left to waste away. I mean, can you imagine the history and the stories that will crumble along with the structure?
But not every old building out there is left to the elements. Some, like this abandoned historic church in the Spanish city of llanera, was able to continue to stand proud thanks to an amazing makeover.

The abandoned structure got a truly unique, truly amazing transformation thanks to the La Iglesia Skate that turned the abandoned building into a skate park. And with the help of street-artist Okuda San Miguel (who teamed up with Red Bull), the building was brought back to life when the artist painted every visible wall and surface with brightly colored isometric murals.
