Her name is Ocean Ramsey. She’s known as the “Shark Whisperer” or the beautiful blonde who swims with huge sharks, especially the Great White Sharks.
Ramsey is a professional scuba instructor, swimmer, and advanced free diver and surfer. She’s been swimming with sharks since she’s 14. And now she’s out to change how we view and look at sharks, and that they are not the enemy.
“It’s difficult to express the incredible joy and breathtaking emotion experienced locking eyes with a Great White,” she wrote on her website. “I hope that by sharing my experiences with sharks, I might inspire others to take action and help protect these amazing creatures before it’s too late.”

“It’s really hard to describe what it’s like to actually have a great white swimming towards you or next to you,” Ramsey said.
Ramsey hopes to change the way people think about sharks. She wants to tell the world that sharks are “amazing, beautiful, and important animals that need to be protected.”
